If there a way (possibly using a normal wifi router) to simply extend the range of a hotspot? Essentially we have free access provided locally but it only works on our balcony. Is there a setup I can use to extend that into the house?
A repeater looks like a good bet, cheers. I don’t need to be network admin to bounce a free signal do I?

I have high speed at home. But I’m thinking of saving money by getting rid of it, buying a cheap laptop, and using free wifi. Someone told me that the free places will eventually charge.
